National Tractor Trailer School in Buffalo

National Tractor Trailer School's first students began training
in June of 1971. Originally established in Newburgh, New York,
NTTS opened a Syracuse campus in January of 1972. Syracuse
proved to be more conducive to its mode of operation. Therefore,
in December of 1972 the schools merged into one campus
located in Syracuse. In November of 1977, NTTS moved to its
present location in Liverpool, New York, and purchased the
facility in May of 1981.

NTTS received its accreditation from the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of
Technology, in October of 1984, and subsequently became an eligible institution for Title IV funding in March of
1985.

In May of 1989, the school established a branch location in Blasdell, New York. In May of 1990, the Blasdell
facility was moved to its current location at 175 Katherine St, Buffalo, NY. In October 1990, the Buffalo location
was accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology as a branch
location.

Program offerings in Buffalo are essentially the same as at the
Liverpool facility. Receiving its Commercial Drivers Course
certification in July of 1998 from the Professional Truck Driver
Institute, NTTS became part of a unique group of Professional
Driver Training Schools in the United States and Canada. Since its inception, NTTS has remained under the same name and
ownership.

o We screen, train, and place qualified individuals in entry positions as Heavy Truck and Tractor Trailer Drivers.

o We have had over 12,000 graduates since inception.

o We have TranSim Truck Transmission Simulator to teach new and experienced drivers the most efficient way to shift non-synchronized truck transmissions without leaving the classroom.

o Accredited by: The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) since 1984 at our Liverpool Campus and since 1989 at our Buffalo Campus.

o Approved by: New York State Division of Veteran's Affairs for the training of Veterans and other eligible persons.

o Approved for participation in: New York State Higher Education Services Corp (HESC), Persian Gulf Veterans Tuition Award (P.G.V.T.A.), and Vietnam Veterans Tuition Award (V.V.T.A.)

o Eligible institution to participate in: U.S. Department of Education student aid program (Title IV Funds).

o Certified Courses available with certification by the: Professional Truck Driver Institute.

o Placement Rate: (Buffalo / Liverpool) 348 or 92.5% of the 376 total graduates eligible for employment have found truck driving jobs during the period of July 1, 2002-June 30, 2003.

Courses
602 Hour Advanced Commercial Drivers Course: A course primarily designed for individuals with little or no previous Commercial Vehicle Operating experience. This course will allow the individual to have a broader understanding of the skill and abilities necessary to be a long-term productive employee. Graduates of this program will go into entry-level positions as heavy truck drivers, tractor trailer drivers, and owner operators.

320 Hour Commercial Drivers Course: A course primarily designed for individuals with little or no previous Commercial Vehicle operation experience. Graduates of this program have gone into entry level positions as heavy truck drivers, tractor trailer drivers, and owner operators.

320 Hour Externship Program: This program allows the student to obtain their Class A License at a more accelerated rate. Then couples the training with a paid externship at a carrier.

180 Hour Basic Driver Course (Buffalo only): A course designed primarily for individuals who have had prior commercial driving experience, or who will continue with additional on the job training.

Heavy Driver Course (C.D.L. "B"): A course primarily designed for individuals with little or no previous heavy truck driving experience. Graduates of this program have gone into entry level positions as fuel truck, straight delivery truck, dump truck and other heavy truck drivers.

Refresher Course: A course primarily designed for individuals with previous tractor trailer driving experience who wish to upgrade their level of driving proficiency. Graduates have gone on to become heavy truck drivers, tractor trailer drivers and owner operators.

Defensive Driving Course: Sponsored by the Empire Safety Council. This course offers 10% personal insurance reduction and point reduction to those who qualify.

Forklift Training: Meets OSHA 29 CFR Subpart N Standards.
