• A photographer plans photographic sequences. The selection and assembly of equipment is determined by reviewing the subject, anticipating conditions and applying knowledge of various cameras, lenses, films and accessories.
• The planning of composition and lighting is also critical for great photography. This can be accomplished by viewing the subject and determining camera position to achieve the desired effect.
• Ironically, photographers can often be found arranging their subjects into positions that will create a candid result.

Photography Skills

• Photographers usually acquire their skills through on-the-job training or formal training at vocational schools, colleges, universities or photographic institutes.
